Easy Milk Recipes

MILK AND HONEY BATH LOTION (To nourish the skin)

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp carrier oil
  • 150ml/5fl oz/ ⅔ cup milk
  • 2 tsp clear honey
  • 2 tsp shampoo
  • 1 tbsp vodka

In a bowl, beat together the eggs and oil. Add the other ingredients, mix and pour into a glass bottle. Add 2-3 tablespoons to bath water. Keep the remaining lotion chilled and use within 3-4 days.

BEDTIME MILK (serves 2)

  • 500ml/17fl oz/2 cups milk
  • a tiny pinch saffron
  • 2 tbsp clear honey
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Gently heat the milk, saffron, and honey in a pan, stirring until the honey is dissolved. Pour into cups, sprinkle over the spices and serve.

CEREAL SOOTHER

  • 350g / 12oz wholegrain breakfast cereal
  • 4 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 250ml / 9fl oz/1 cup skimmed or Semi-skimmed milk

Mix together the cereal and the seeds in a bowl. Divide between four bowls, top with the Bananas and pour the Milk over the top. Serve.
